Biofactory is a company producing high quality wooden products. Our traditions date back to 1919. We operate in the territory of south-eastern Poland. We sell products for building depots, furniture producers, electric power plants and individual recipients. Convenient location of Biofactory enables sale of approx. one fourth of the company production abroad. We export to Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, Austria and Sweden. At the same time, approx. 50% of wood  is imported by the company from Slovakia which facilitates independence from the monopoly of the State Forests. The enterprise is currently undergoing major transformation which encompasses gradual shift from production of simple wooden goods towards bioenergy. In 2011, in the area of the plant, a modern production hall was launched with a brand new and highly-efficient semi-automatic wood processing assembly line. Production capacity increased several times. We are investing in the production of highly-processed wooden elements for the furniture industry and the finishing business. We will also shortly commence production of energy thanks to power installations powered by our own post-production waste. In the near future we are planning to expand our energy capacity by 5 MW biomass power plant to sell electricity, heat and services related to RES. The company obtained CE certificate no. 1583-CPD- 304 for construction wood with rectangular cross-section issued by the notifying body - Institute of Wood Technology in Poznań.
