SWISS-DUTCH TYPE CHEESES
District Dairy Cooperative in Kosów Lacki is one of the oldest and highest-ranked dairy cooperatives in Poland, operating continuously since 1926. Initially, the Cooperative focused on collecting and selling milk from local farmers. However, thanks to the active involvement of its members, it gradually expanded its operations, investing in modern technologies and production lines-supported in part by EU funds. Today, OSM Kosów Lacki is a medium-sized enterprise employing approximately 160 people and processing an average of 63 million liters of milk annually.
The company specializes in the production of Swiss-Dutch type cheeses, Dutch-type cheeses, as well as curd cheese and butter. In response to growing consumer expectations, we continuously expand our product range to include Dutch-style cheeses with added spices, smoked cheeses, long-aged cheeses, and fresh rennet cheeses with seasonings. Our products are made from milk sourced, among others, from the Nadbużański Landscape Park area, which emphasizes their natural origin and high quality.
A strong competitive advantage of the Cooperative lies in the combination of multi-generational tradition with modern production. Some products-such as hand-made curd cheese and butter-have been produced according to an unchanged recipe for over 60 years. Their exceptional taste and artisanal quality have been confirmed by the prestigious “Quality Tradition” certificate and numerous industry awards.
The OSM Kosów Lacki brand is recognized both domestically and internationally. Its products are associated with natural ingredients, free from preservatives and artificial colorings, high quality standards, and a unique taste. The Cooperative’s long, 100-year history is a guarantee of stability, credibility, and trust in business relations.
