DURO Metal Plant was established at the turn of 80s and 90s as a family company. Since the beginning, we’ve specialized in manufacturing in the metal industry. We’ve performed services in the scope of construction metalwork. At the beginning of the 90s, we’ve engaged in cooperation with several companies from the Western Europe. This cooperation resulted in the signing of contracts beneficial for our company, which made us a CONTRACT company. As a production company, for many years we’ve been striving to improve our manufacturing technologies. The development and expansion of our machine park required us to commit large capital, which comprised a big challenge for the company and a barrier that was difficult to overcome. In order to do this, the owner engaged in the process of raising funds for implementation of goals set out for himself and the company. Since 2006, our company has been awarded with two grants for implementation of the planned purchase of new machines. The first project concerned the purchase of computer-controlled bending machine manufactured by the OMAS company, within the following programme: `Sectoral Operational Programme – Improvement of the Competitiveness of Enterprises, Measure 2.3’. The total value of the project: 125 000 euro. The second project: `Improvement of the Competitiveness of `DURO` company through the purchase of modern laser cutter”. The total value of the project: 165 000 euro, project financed by the European Regional Development Fund. In April 2009, we received the third grant from the European Union under the European funds for development of Lower Silesia, which helped us to implement the following project: “Development of `DURO` company through the purchase of punch press type
AC-2510 NT manufactured by the AMADA company from Japan” with a value of 920.000 PLN. This does not end our commitment for improvement of the company. For many years now, we’ve been working with artists and designers, and we’re open to new propositions and projects. At the same time, we have OUR OWN PRODUCTS designed and manufactured in our company. In the course of several years of our presence on the market, our products have reached all continents.
