DUST COLLECTORS FOR EXHAUST FUMES MANUFACTURER
Flue Gas Dust Collectors
Cyclone Dust Concentrators - OKZ Type
APPLICATION:
OKZ centrifugal dust concentrators are mainly used for:
cleaning flue gases from grate and pulverized boilers,
cleaning air extracted from crushing, screening and conveying equipment for mineral raw materials,
preliminary cleaning of gases from metallurgical thermal processes,
cleaning air extracted from casting cleaning equipment or moulding sand preparation systems.
The cleaned gases should be chemically neutral, and their temperature must not exceed 673 K 400°C.
For moist gases, the temperature must be higher than the dew point to prevent condensation on the dust collector walls.
CONSTRUCTION:
OKZ centrifugal dust concentrators consist of a main chamber containing a defined number of modules depending on capacity.
Each module includes:
a cast‑iron swirl generator,
a steel cylindrical section.
Separated dust is discharged into a collection hopper.
Maximum recommended number of modules per collector: 50, arranged in up to 4 rows.
The chamber is made of reinforced steel sheets with gas‑tight joints.
Dust discharge should be continuous, using sealed devices such as rotary feeders or double flap valves.
Pneumatic ejectors are recommended.
Modules may use grey or ductile cast iron with increased wear resistance.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE:
Dust‑laden gas enters the swirl generator axially.
A stationary guide vane at the inlet causes the gas to swirl.
During spiral movement, dust particles migrate toward the outer wall and are discharged through an annular gap into the hopper.
Clean gas exits through the inner tube.
