The beginnings of the factory go back to 6 May 1921, when (Polsko-Śląska Fabryka Pił i Narzędzi Sp. z o.o. (Polish-Silesian Factory of Saws and Tools Ltd.) was founded. The state company called Fabryka Pił i Narzędzi WAPIENICA (WAPIENICA Saws and Tools Factory) was founded under the regulation of Minister of Industry and Trade, of 1948.
