The MKM Swetry brand was created in 1989 on the initiative of Urszula and Kazimierz Kołaczyk. The idea to focus solely on knits and sweaters soon became a major strength and the flag ship of the brand. Over the past years MKM Swetry has marketed more than 1,000 sweater designs that changed the image of knits in Poland and created the sweater fashion trend.
Today, MKM still remembers its history and remains a family business with tradition but has decided to combine its experience and passion for creation with new solutions and the street fashion age.
The brand has focused on young and creative designers who can perfectly combine the functionality and wearing comfort with the latest trends on the fashion market. Based on the new trends that emerge in the fashion capitals of the world the MKM designers create unforgettable designs that are then well used by young trendsetters in their everyday but also avant-garde stylizations.
Each collection is a set of new inspirations, in which the knits both change their faces every time and retain the functionality of a sweater. MKM lines are full of short and long cardigans, polo-neck sweaters, tunics, dresses, ponchos, coats and accessories like snoods, leg-warmers and scarves. The created designs are made of good quality yarns, among other things, of: alpaca (camel wool), mohair, angora, cotton and linen. Each collection comes in two styles:
* Classic and universal: for regular customers and those who value understated subtlety
* Street and modern: for women who attentively keep up with the latest trends and live in keeping with the fashion “must haves”.
