The LUG enterprise was established as a civil partnership in November 1989.
Ever since we started, we have always been a manufacturer of lighting fittings and, at the same time, we have been conducting trade business.
The company expanded its places of operation in October 1990. At that time, the civil partnership name was changed to ZPHU “LUG” Czesław i Ryszard Wtorkowscy.
In 1991, the company began to conduct its operations at ul. Kręta 5 in Zielona Góra and substantially extended its subject of operations by adding the wholesale of lighting fittings, as well as electrical materials and equipment. LUG continued to develop its sales network by opening its own stores.
In April 2001, the civil partnership was transformed into a limited liability company.
The production of lighting fittings and the sale of electrical materials remained the main subject of our business. We also carried out operations concerning investments related to the design and completion of electrical works.
Due to the growth of production and demand for industrial lighting fittings manufactured by our company, we decided to narrow the scope of our operations to the production of lighting fittings.
On 3rd September 2007 LUG Sp. z o.o. (limited liability company) was transformed into LUG SA (public liability company) and on 20th November LUG SA had its debut in the NewConnect exchange market.
