P.P.H.U. Gramar is a company that developed on the basis of a family business of Mr Krzysztof Łojewski. It is a limited liability company with main shareholders of Grażyna and Krzysztof Łojewscy. The purchase and slaughter of farm animals in their hometown of Koszoły was the beginning of the business activity in 1989. Changing economic situation in the country and tightened veterinary requirements were decisive of seizing production in the abbatoir in Koszoły. In 1999, Mr Krzysztof decided to purchase the PSS abbatoir in Włodawa and adapt it to EU veterinary requirements. In August of 2001, the investment was completed and commissioned. At present, Mr Krzysztof Łojewski’s company consists of the abbatoir and a meat processing plant rented in 2007. The company operates mainly on a local market, that is within the Lubelskie and Mazowieckie provinces, however it also has contractors in other provinces. The company has export certificates to the countries of the European Union and third countries, that is: Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Croatia and Moldova. Our company systematically supplies its products to approximately 1000 recipients. The company participates in numerous consumer competitions for cured meat quality, wins many awards, medals, diplomas and distinctions. The abbatoir plant for farm animals: pigs and cattle, besides covering own demands for meat to be processed, also supplies pork sides to other contractors. Furthermore, the activity has been extended to provide slaughter services, mainly for slaughter cattle. The plant processing capacity is: 350 pieces of pigs and 230 pieces of cattle per day. The meat processing plant offers approximately 200 products: both meat and cured meat products, constantly widening its offer with products prepared according to Polish traditional recipes – „the royal products”. By offering such a wide product range we strive to reach the largest customer circle possible and meet their requirements at the same time, to win customer satisfaction and be valued in such a difficult branch of the food industry. We keep on caring about the quality of production – product safety. One of the instruments is the improvement of already implemented HACCP system, because good quality of meat products is based on qualified and disciplined personnel, appropriate and approved technologies using reliable machines and devices in the processing of good raw materials.
