The Andoria-Mot Company (limited liability company) has been established in February 2002 year as separate part of Andoria (joint stock company) factory of diesel engines. The Andoria-Mot Company offers: diesel engines, power units, generating sets, pump assemblies, iron castings, services of mechanical working, spare parts, vehicles: GAZELLE, LUBLIN 3 and HONKER. The Company continues traditions of Andoria factory of diesel engines, which go back to 1945 year. The most important facts from Andoria history:
- in 1945 it was established state-owned Metallurgical Works with production of roller mills, hulling machines, elevators
- in 1947 it was started production of carburettor two-stroke engines of S80 series
- in 1948 it was started production of diesel engines of S60 series
- in 1956 it was started production of engines of S320 series
- in 1964 it was the first iron cast in new foundry
- in 1966 it was the first purchase of license of SW400 series engines from English LEYLAND Company
- in 1988 it was started serial production of 4C90 engine, which modified versions are used in vehicles: LUBLIN, HONKER, LDV, GAZELA, UAZ, ARO
- in 1994 in Andoria Company it was started assembly of British LDV vehicles
- in 1997 it was implemented quality management system in compliance with ISO 9001 standards
- in 2002 it was implemented quality management system in compliance with ISO/TS 16949 standards, it was established Andoria-Mot Company, Andoria and Andoria-Mot Companies resumed production and sale of LUBLIN 3 and HONKER vehicles on the territory of bankrupt Daewoo Motor Polska Company in Lublin
- in 2003 Andoria-Mot Company was classified as sub-supplier in concluded by Polish Government Offset Contract accompanying purchase of F-16 fighter/attack aircrafts for Polish Army, it was beginning of co-operation with well-known German FEUER POWERTRAIN Company in the field of machining of truck crankshafts
- in 2004 Andoria-Mot Company with its offer of HONKER vehicles started co-operation with NOUR Consortium, which won lucrative tender concerning armament of new-created Iraqi Army
