VINPOL Ltd was established on the 18th of September, 1990. In short time the company found itself in the leading position among the biggest companies on the wine market in Poland, the wine market understood as sparkling, dessert wines and vermouths.
The company is also strongly engaged in other categories of the alcoholic beverages. Because of that Vinpol became an important player on brandy and liqueur markets in relatively short time.
Important date in Vinpol history is admittance of Poland to European Union in May 1, 2004. It created additional increase of competition on the Polish market, but on the other hand, the opened markets of European Union enabled the considerable increase of sales outside Poland. Except years-old collaboration with Canada and USA, Vinpol started to sell its products in Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belorussia, Russia and Romania.
Since 1997, 'Vinpol' has been a member of the international Henkell & Co. Group with its headquarter in Wiesbaden, Germany. The tradition of Henkell & Co. extends back to the year 1832. The Group gather the companies from Germany as well as other European countries, such as France, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Romania, Italy, Austria and of course, Poland.
Vinpol's pro-quality actions (implemented HACCP, IFS and ISO 9001 systems) in connection with marketing strategy lead on to more that 80 awards, distinctions, and medals that our products have won in the number of the competitions. Among the frequently awarded brands one should name Nalewka Babuni, Canari liqueur, Totino vermouth, and mulled wine Grzane Starotoruńskie.
