The manufacturing and trade company “RYSIEK” is a family business, established in 1992 by brothers-in-law,
dealing with animal slaughter, mainly cattle and calves. Initially, Sławomir Pokwap and Ryszard Gruszka,
the owners, were the only workers. Bożena and Sławomir Pokwap are the owners from 1997.
A dynamic development of the company necessitated the employment of new workers and extension of
operations to meat cutting. During next years, the plant in Żelisławice went through a series of modernization
changes related to the accession of Poland to the European Union, and in consequence, the adaptation of
the plant to European standards in force and obtaining permits for trade in the area of EU. In August 2010,
the meat cutting operations were relocated to the new plant in Myszków.
At present, the company “RYSIEK” fulfils all veterinary requirements and has an the HACCP quality system
implemented. The company also invested in a modern computer system, machinery and equipment. In 2010,
we entered the program of “In care of Nature”, created by the Polish Recycling System, Organizacja Odzysku
SA. The program is a proof of an entrepreneur engagement in a wider mission, which aims at natural
environment protection.
The guarantee of the highest quality” is a motto of the company “RYSIEK”.
Offered meat comes from animals purchased directly from farmers, which guarantees ecological products.
We cooperate both with small and large companies. Our specialized staff prepares the best products to
satisfy various tastes of our customers, while our drivers deliver products on time and in place.
